The Art and Science of 'Timing'

        SECTION 1: Selecting the Proper Days for your magickal goals.

            When planning a Ritual, it adds power to your working to time it so that your goal coincides with the Day and other events. If you have time to plan a head, you will want to consider several factors, day, planetary hours, and the moons position in the Zodiac. By tuning into the Celestial rhythms that are best suited to your workings, you draw upon stronger environmental energies. Below is a table of days and their influences. Also by timing more than just your rituals, but your meditations and other excersizes with the appropriate energies, your workings turn out much more effective and powerful.
 

           SECTION 2: Timing with Planetary Hours
           When calculating the planetary hour, begin with the local time for sunrise and sunset, then devide the hours in between by twelve. Do the same for sunset to sunrise the following day to get the hors after sunset.

            SECTION 3: Working with the Moon in the Zodiac
            In order to align yourself with the moon in the signs of the Zodiac, purchase an ephemeris, or a good astrology book. You can also find out a lot of astrology information on the World Wide Web. While it is not always possible to work in perfect union with the cycles of the Heavens, you can work as closes as possible within the constraints of a normal life.
